We are seeking experienced self-employed professionals with a proven track record in children's residential care to join our team.

What is the role?

As a children’s care consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with the day-to-day management, compliance, and operational improvement of their services.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will provide strategic guidance, regulatory insight, and practical solutions to help our clients achieve and maintain high-quality care standards.

Location: UK Wide.

Start Date: Subject to satisfactory DBS check and reference checks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Responsible Individual services to children’s residential care providers.
• Support clients in achieving and maintaining Ofsted compliance and high-quality standards.
• Conduct independent audits, strategic reviews, and Regulation 44 visits.
• Provide leadership and support to service staff.

Requirements:

• Experience working in an operational, regulatory compliance or similar role.
• Significant experience of working within children's residential care.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practices in children's social care.
• Exceptional organisational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Access to own vehicle with a willingness to travel nationally.
• Valid Driver's License. 
• DBS registered and on the update system.
